DIRECTOR OF ADVERTISING SALES

My Damn Channel is an entertainment studio and new media platform created to empower artists to co-produce, distribute, and monetize original, episodic video content for the web.

Our programming is created by filmmakers, actors, comedians, musicians and athletes for the My Damn Channel site (www.MyDamnChannel.com) and for syndication on today's most heavily-trafficked online communities and social networks. We have executed campaigns for major advertisers in the liquor, consumer-packaged goods, entertainment, and automotive categories.

The Director of Advertising Sales will be responsible for sourcing and closing brand sponsorships and advertising campaigns on our site and managing our ad rep firms and ad networks. The Director will work closely with our senior executive team to identify and close sales opportunities, manage ad inventory availability, set pricing, and build media plans for clients and agencies.

This individual will have ample opportunity for advancement in our fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Located in New York City or Los Angeles.

Key responsibilities:
• Source and close deals
• Effectively mate new sponsorship opportunities and RFPs to our content library and promotional ad inventory from our syndication partners
• Develop cross platform ad sales programs that can be incorporated into sales materials, presentations, marketing collateral
• Oversee external ad rep firms and ad networks
• Responsible for ongoing revenue budget monitoring, reporting and management

Successful candidates should have the following qualification/requirements :
• Highly-collaborative, hands-on team player
• 3-5 years in online advertising sales experience with a proven and consistent track record of extraordinary success
• Well-connected in the online ad buying community
• Current competitive knowledge
• Superb oral and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• BA/BS required
