Where, Inc. is seeking a first-rate, experienced creative director to lead its design team across multiple aspects of its business.  The successful candidate will manage creative projects and work with graphic, mobile, and web designers from concept, design, development, to implementation, execution and production. This position will report to the Vice President of Consumer Experience and will be responsible for the overall creative direction and provide inspiration to the entire company.

Areas include:

• Product - conceptualize high-level design and provide guidance to the existing team of mobile and web designers
• Advertising (WHERE Ads) - creative/design and production
• Presales - provide polished mockups for agency pitches, campaign overviews, and partner meetings

Qualifications

• 7+ years design experience in mobile or online with at least two years in a lead creative role
• Expertise in graphic design, UX/UI, usability, concept development, website design, identity design
• Deep knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process
• Embody user-centered design principles and development processes
• Ability to provide clear creative direction, give timely and helpful coaching to improve creative and produce work with short turnaround times
• Track record of working collaboratively with internal Designers, Developers, Copywriters and Marketing Managers
• Extreme attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to manage external vendors and agencies
• Self-motivated, but works well in a team environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Digital Media Design

Essential Qualifications

• Relevant project management experience in game design
