(New York, NY) We have a great opportunity for an experienced iPhone Application Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. You'll play a vital role in application programming for ventures for a major financial company.
First things first, you’ll need an excellent command of all facets of iPhone application development, from interaction design to submission and acceptance. It’s just as important you have a strong work ethic, are a problem-solving whiz, have notable organizational skills, and above all, are very detail-oriented. If you can boldly check off all those things, you’ve already piqued our interest. But just to make sure, keep reading.
Interactive development skills are one thing, interaction is another—you must have strong interpersonal skills, working independently and as part of a team knowledge sharing your expert skills with another in-house developer.
If you’ve have prior experience working for an agency—that’s a plus.
Qualifications
• Objective C and C++
• Xcode IDE
• iPhone SDK
• Pro-active in exploring new areas of the iPhone 3.0 SDK
• OOP design patterns
• Data management and parsing
• Strong understanding of performance and memory optimization
• OpenGL ES, a plus
