Seeking IT programmers for growing direct marketing firm. Ideal candidates should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.

Requirements include:

* Familiarity with object oriented and component based programming including VB 6, C#, or VB.NET
* Ability to convert designs and specifications into web applications.
* Ability to implement GUIs using ASP/ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, and JavaScript.
* Experience in transportation, logistics or mail shop applications will be helpful.
* Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Be able to work at an abstract level and be able to set the technical direction in the context of ambiguity.
* Ability to prototype, refine, system test, performance test, and debug applications
* Familiarity with XML, HTML, DHTML, SQL, XSLT, ADO, ASP/ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, Schema Design, Relational data modeling
* Experienced in administering and managing SQL Server & IIS web server helpful
* Familiarity with IDEs including Visual Studio 2003 & 2005, etc.
* Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and developing and exposing software components as Web Services
* Familiarity with multiple server and desktop operating systems including Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Linux (helpful)
* Experience with secure coding principles & practices.
* Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities will include:

* Develop and code complex solutions on the Microsoft .NET Platform.
* Writing SQL stored procedures, triggers, and views
* Manipulate & work with various XML files and formats
* Develop and expose software components as Web Services for Service-Oriented Architecture, using WS-Security open standards specifications
* Develop reports using various BI tools, including Reporting Services, Crystal Reports
* Scripting and web developmentCollaboration with team members, sharing development responsibility
* Work with members of diverse technical and business teams
* Building and coding applications and/or modules using languages such as C#, Visual Basic.NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript, etc. Providing maintenance and upgrades to existing systems. Design graphical user interfaces (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
