Socialcast is looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails engineer to join our team in San Francisco. Along with our current development staff, you’ll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and expanding upon the hosted, on-premise, and mobile versions of our application.
We are immediately seeking a qualified candidate in our San Francisco office who has experience working with:
• Ruby on Rails (1+ year)
• JQuery
• MySQL
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Unix System Administration / Linux
Other skills that would be beneficial, but are not required, include: Python, Network Administration, Business Intelligence software and Enterprise security.
Additionally, candidates should have experience writing tests, performance testing, profiling, and scaling applications.
Applicants should be an expert in at least one topic (it does not have to be coding), passionate, analytical, able to see the big picture, entrepreneurial, a strong communicator, flexible, a team player, and willing to take on any task.
