VEVO is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Programming & Editorial for the Santa Monica, CA location.
• Music Programming: Work with the programming team to develop and maintain compelling editorial music programming
o Manage ongoing programming in assigned music genre categories and brand channels to ensure current and compelling user experience
• Copywriting: Help define, manage and maintain the editorial voice of VEVO in original features, promotions, directional copy, customer communications, etc.
• Editorial communications analytics: work with Client Services group to define success metrics and communicate them internally [engagement dashboard]
• Project Management: Liaise with Product Development team to communicate product contingent programming features and new feature-sets.
• Content Development: Help define and manage production for music related original content programming
o Help write associate treatments, pitch documents, script copy, interview questions, etc.
• Product Marketing: Oversee editorial copy in consumer marketing efforts such as newsletters, site notifications, mobile alerts, content features, etc.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in online entertainment content, programming or product management, preferably music related
• Must be very knowledgeable and very passionate about music, video, pop culture and new technologies Must provide work or writing samples
• Must be Mac/PC and Internet fluent.
• Intermediate knowledge of: Photoshop, Video/Audio editing software, video and digital camera equipment, productivity software (Wiki, Insight, etc.)
